Start with the county custody and records path for the public roster's current-custody and prior-three-day release views. The public roster does not show booking photographs, and a roster entry does not state a final court result.
- For a KCJ booking record or possible booking photograph, use KCSO Records and provide identifying facts such as a name, date, and local ID if known.
- For a court date or public case outcome, use the Washington court-record guide or the appropriate court. KCJ identifies Lower District Court at 509-962-7511, Superior Court at 509-962-7533, and Upper District Court at 509-674-5533 for court-date questions.
- For a person in state-prison custody, use the WA DOC incarcerated search. It is separate from KCJ and is not a county booking source.
- For federal prison custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator; it does not answer an ordinary Kittitas County booking question.
- For ICE or CBP custody that falls within its stated scope, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. Do not infer immigration custody from a county roster entry.
